These are leveled talking books taken from the Reading A-Z leveled readers. The words or phrases are highlighted as they are being read. The audio can also be turned off. Each book has a quiz at the end which is scored and can be stored in a students record. Teachers can call up students' records to see what they have read and how they scored.

Primarily designed for first grade, Starfall.com is also useful for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and second grade. Starfall is also suitable for Home Schooling. The phonics books are excellent. Individual letters can be clicked on to get audio of the sound that letter makes.
A must try, especially as it's free.

MightyBook is perfect for new readers, reluctant readers or kids who just love to hear a good story well told. And it's an ideal medium for anyone learning English as a second language, because words highlighted as they're read out loud. Not leveled like Raz-Kids books and not as consistant quality-wise, but try out the free samples. Very entertaining.
